Paid vacation is available upfront after a successful completion of the three-month onboarding period.

Insurance

Our competitive and extensive medical insurance plan includes virtual doctor consultations, an employee assistance program and eye and dental coverage. It also includes $1,000 coverage on psychology and psychotherapy services.

Flex Days & COVID-19 Sick Days

We offer 3 flex days that can be used for sick days, medical appointments, personal days, etc. Since February 2022, we also offer 3 additional days off for employees sick with COVID-19.

Company-Wide End-Of-Year Time Off

We are closed and offer company-wide PTO during the last week of December.

Our employees get $500 annually to spend on their wellness and can choose from a wide range of products from sporting equipment to vacation rentals.

Work-From-Home Allowance

Permanent employees get a one-time $500 office upgrade as well as $100/month for their phone and internet bills.

3 additional paid days off for this special occasion.

Narcity Committees & Side Projects

These programs allow employees to spend 10% of their workweek pursuing passion projects and taking part in company committees.

Bonusly

A recognition platform that allows employees to earn bonus points from their colleagues and redeem them from various gift cards, from Starbucks to Lululemon or charitable donations.

Apple Leasing Program

All employees can request a swanky new Macbook Pro when they join. Narcity also offers an iPhone Pro for video-facing content creators.

No-Meeting Wednesdays

We encourage all employees to have a no meeting day once a week, to focus on tasks and projects and combat #zoomfatigue.

Onward

A monthly company-wide meeting where all Narcity employees come together to celebrate new members and have insightful conversations with guest speakers focused on our Narcity virtues. Led by our P&C and Executive teams, it is a space to celebrate company wins and connect.

Narcity Social

A biweekly virtual event where our teams can take a 30-minute break to play Narcity trivia and connect with colleagues whom they may not see on a day to day. Engaging our teams is a priority!

Soirées

We organize gatherings for our teams to connect IRL and build bonds with one another. Despite working remotely, we know that human connection is necessary.

Birthday Day Off

We want our employees to feel celebrated on their special day. For the occasion, they receive an additional paid day off, birthday wishes on Slack and extra points on Bonusly.

Swag

As the saying goes “When you look good, you feel good.” That’s why all new employees are sent a welcome package that includes a Narcity hoodie, a copy of Kim Scott’s Radical Candor and other sweet merch.

Bright Classes

Our employees have unlimited access to online fitness classes on Bright. Whether it’s a 5-minute stretching class or a 30-minute HIIT workout, we encourage our employees to take some time off during their day for their physical and mental well-being

Remote & Flexible First 
As a remote-first workplace, we promote work-life integration and we want all Narcity Media employees to feel included, happy and engaged at work. Being remote does not mean we aren’t connected. We value human connection above all and make sure our employees find joy in their work every day!

Coworking Spaces 
In Montreal and Toronto, our biggest hubs, employees have access to coworking spaces! Although we’ll never go back to an office full time, we encourage our employees to connect in person when it's safe to do so.
